We started Vital Martial Arts Academy to teach children the skills they need to succeed in life. Your daughter will learn how to believe in herself and stand strong. Your son will learn that he can excel at anything he puts his mind to. Your child will learn to pursue their dreams relentlessly and to never give up.
We are a family-oriented martial arts school teaching modern Kung Fu (also called Wushu) to men, women, and children of all ages. At VMAA, our primary focus is on the development of the student, both in terms of personal growth and physical exercise.
VMAA has experienced instructors that provide the opportunity for students to compete in all categories of Chinese martial arts tournaments at the local, regional, national and international levels.

ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Sifu Vital Yarashevich’s background in martial arts spans over 25 years, with 6 years of experience as a competitor and 20+ as a coach. He holds a master’s degree in Physical Education (with a Martial Arts specialization) from the Belarusian State University of Physical Training. This degree is more than just an honorary accomplishment — it has allowed him to approach coaching as a developmental process that encompasses both the body and mind and to help hundreds of his students grow into champions. In 2022 Sifu Vital has been selected and successfully completed the World high level Wushu coaches program in Shanghai University of Sport.
In addition to his formal education, Sifu Vital also underwent intense coach training in Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Italy and China, which included studying with the Beijing Wushu Team under the supervision of Wu Bin, the coach of famed actor and martial artist Jet Li.
Sifu Vital has coached 38 champions of World, Pan-American and European championships. He received multiple Martial Arts awards and was honored as a coach of the highest level of the Republic of Belarus. He is an international judge (EWuF, ICMAC) and has served as the USA National Kung Fu team coach at the 3rd Pan-American Kung Fu Championship 2019 (Lubbock, USA) and at the 4th Pan-American Kungfu Championship 2023 (Markham, Canada).
His Kung Fu / Wushu expertise covers both traditional and contemporary styles, including Shaolin, Long Fist, Southern Fist, Tai Chi, Staff, Straight Sword, Broadsword, Spear, Fan, Double Swords, Chain, Hong Gia, Qigong, Neigong, Drunken Fist, Praying Mantis, Tumbling Fist, and more. In addition to Wushu, he also has extensive experience in Gymnastics and Acrobatics, as well as swimming and track-and-field.
Sifu Vital was inducted into the International Chinese Martial Arts Championship Hall of Fame in 2021 as a Master.
