The 2022 Martial Arts Foundation Invitation held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida at the Joseph C. Carter Park Gym Saturday, November 5, 2022. The Vital Martial Arts Academy was represented by three beginner’s students.
We rocked this competition with more than hundred participants from South Florida Karate, Taekwondo and Kung Fu Schools!

6-7 y.o.
Gabriel – 1st place barehand forms
8-9 y.o.
Brooklyn ‘Anya’ – 2nd place barehand forms, 1st place weapon forms
Sidney – 3rd place barehand forms, 2nd place weapon forms
Martial Arts Foundation is an organization founded by Kyoshi Larry L. Mabson during the early 1990’s. MAF events are open to all martial art styles and systems. The primary focus is to promote discipline, respect, honor, personal accountability and leadership through the philosophy of martial art activities. MAF strives to maintain basic values of goodwill and community development through the support of young kids, teens and adult martial art students of all ages and martial art styles by providing quality ongoing martial art activities.
