Vital Martial Arts Academy had a phenomenal showing at the 7th Annual Westcoast Open Martial Arts Championship in Sarasota, Florida on December 2, 2023. Our talented students swept the competition, with each and every one of them achieving a first-place finish!
This incredible accomplishment is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our students and sifu. We are incredibly proud of their success and excited to see what the future holds for these talented athletes.

Here are some highlights from the competition:
8 – 9 y.o.
- Brooklyn “Anya” Moore – 1st place intermediate bare hands forms, 1st place intermediate weapons forms,
- Gabriel Moore – 3rd place beginners bare hands forms, 1stplace beginners weapons forms
6 – 7 y.o.
- Sorina Codita – 1st place beginners bare hands forms, 1st place beginners weapons forms
