At Vital Martial Arts Academy, a belt test is so much more than just a date on the calendar. On May 16, 2026, our training floor in Hallandale Beach was buzzing with incredible energy as our students stepped up to demonstrate their skills, spirit, and mental fortitude.

Setting a New Standard: Our Newest Red Belts
While every student gave their absolute all, the academy reached a thrilling milestone during this test. We want to extend a massive, heartfelt congratulations to our two newest Red Belts:

Earning a red belt in traditional and contemporary Kung Fu is a massive achievement. It symbolizes deep technical proficiency, a strong mind-body connection, and the heart of a true martial artist. Both Lucia and Maria have repeatedly shown what it means to train like champions—whether competing at high-level tournaments or helping to inspire their peers right here on our home floor.
Reaching this advanced level requires countless hours of refining forms, mastering weapon routines, and showing up even when the training gets tough. Lucia and Maria, your hard work shines brightly, and the entire VMAA family is incredibly proud of your well-deserved promotions!
