What an incredible weekend for Vital Martial Arts Academy! Our dedicated students just returned from the 27th Annual International Chinese Martial Arts Championship in Orlando, Florida, held from June 27-29, 2025, with a remarkable 21 medals!

Our athletes poured their hearts into preparing for this prestigious event. Their hard work, discipline, and passion for Wushu and traditional Kung Fu truly shone through as they competed against martial artists from around the globe.

A Historic Achievement: Sorina Codita – Double Grand Champion!

Amidst all the outstanding performances, one achievement stood out as truly historic: Sorina Codita became a Double Grand Champion!

Sorina’s unparalleled skill and dedication led her to claim not one, but two coveted titles: Kids Wushu Grand Champion and Kids Traditional Kung Fu Grand Champion. This extraordinary feat showcases her incredible versatility and mastery, making us immensely proud and inspiring everyone at our academy.

The 27th Annual International Chinese Martial Arts Championship (ICMAC) is one of North America’s largest and longest-running Chinese martial arts tournaments. Held annually, typically in Orlando, Florida, it brings together martial artists from around the world to compete in various categories of Chinese martial arts, including Kung Fu, Wushu, Tai Chi, sparring, and push hands.

The event features hundreds of divisions for all skill levels and age groups, with multiple competition rings, grand champion awards, and often includes masters showcases and seminars. It’s a significant event for the Chinese martial arts community, fostering “Friendship Through Martial Arts™.”
