The sun was shining, the energy was high, and the spirit of community was stronger than ever! On Saturday, December 13, 2025, Vital Martial Arts Academy gathered at the beautiful West Lake Park in Hollywood, Florida, for our annual Winter Holidays Celebration.
It was a day filled with movement, mindfulness, and the joy of coming together as one big martial arts family.
Fun & Innovation for the Kids
Our younger martial artists had an absolute blast! Thanks to our wonderful sponsors at Sunshine State Academy, the park was transformed into a hub of creativity. Kids enjoyed:
- High-Tech Robotics: Hands-on learning that sparked curiosity.
- Face Painting: Transforming our students into tigers, dragons, and holiday heroes.
- Kung Fu Class: A high-energy session where the kids showed off their focus and discipline in the fresh park air.
Wellness & Connection for Adults
While the kids were busy with robots, our adult students and parents took a deep breath and centered themselves. The morning featured:
- Tai Chi & Qigong: Flowing movements to balance the body’s energy.

Cacao Ceremony: A truly special highlight led by Cacao with Kasia. This heart-opening experience allowed everyone to set intentions for the coming year and connect on a deeper level.
The Student Wushu, Kung Fu and Tai Chi Show
The true heart of the day was the Student Show. Students of all ages took to the “stage” to demonstrate the skills they’ve worked so hard to master this year. From sharp forms to powerful strikes, the performance was a testament to the dedication, sweat, and spirit of our academy. Seeing the pride on the parents’ faces as their children performed was the best holiday gift we could ask for.
No celebration is complete without a feast! We enjoyed a delicious lunch featuring world-class pizza provided by Florio’s of Little Italy. Between the slices of pizza and the holiday presents distributed to the students, the park was full of smiles and laughter.
