On December 14th, 2024 Vital Martial Arts Academy (VMAA) transformed West Lake Park in Hollywood, Florida, into a winter wonderland of wellness and creativity. Our annual Winter Holidays Celebration brought together VMAA families for a day filled with fun, learning, and community.
A Day of Kung Fu, Fun and Learning
The event showcased the incredible talent and dedication of our young martial artists. Kids of all ages took to the stage to perform stunning Wushu and Kung Fu demonstrations, leaving the audience amazed with their agility, precision, and power.
The event kicked off with a delightful art and craft class led by the talented educators at Sunshine State Academy. Kids of all ages unleashed their creativity, crafting beautiful winter-themed projects that brought smiles to their faces.
While the little ones were busy crafting, parents had the opportunity to join a creative workshop led by the inspiring Gabriela Kerszenblat. Under her guidance, parents explored their artistic side and created unique pieces.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the Tai Chi and Qigong class led by our esteemed Sifu. Adults immersed themselves in the graceful movements of these ancient practices, learning valuable lessons about mindfulness, balance, and inner peace.
To conclude the festivities, VMAA and SSA presented each child with a special gift, and everyone enjoyed a delicious pizza party courtesy of Florio’s of Little Italy.
