Awesome Wins and a Big Milestone at Phoenix Wushu Nationals!
The Phoenix Wushu Nationals on March 8-9, 2025, were a blast for Vital Martial Arts Academy! Our students rocked it, showing off their skills and bringing home a bunch of awesome medals. We’re super proud of everyone who competed!
This year was extra special because Sorina and Carlos got to show off their moves using the brand-new 2024 International Wushu Federation (IWuF) rules. They totally nailed it!

Plus, our very own Sifu Vitaly (Vital Yarashevich) got a huge shoutout! He was awarded his 6th degree Black belt by Master Jerry Silva, National Martial Arts Academy, Aurora, Colorado. That’s a massive achievement and a testament to all his hard work and dedication. Congrats, Sifu Vitaly!
The Phoenix Wushu Nationals were a great time for our students to test their skills, learn from others, and celebrate Wushu. Big thanks to the organizers for putting on such a fantastic event!
