We are incredibly proud to announce the success of our Vital Martial Arts Academy students at the prestigious 2024 World Star Chinese Martial Arts Competition held in Houston, Texas, March 22nd-24th!
This year’s competition brought together talented Wushu and Kung Fu athletes from across the nation, showcasing their skills in various Chinese martial arts disciplines. Our students rose to the challenge, demonstrating their dedication, perseverance, and exceptional technique.
Here are some highlights from the competition:
10 – 12 y.o.
- Brooklyn “Anya” Moore – 3rd place wushu hands forms, 3rd place wushu long weapons, 2nd place wushu short weapons, 3rd place kung fu hands forms, 3rd place kung fu long weapons
- Marco Viscito – 2nd place wushu long weapons, 2nd place kung fu hands forms
7 – 9 y.o.
- Gabriel Moore – 1st place wushu short weapons, 2nd place wushu hands forms
- Lucia Viscito – 3rd place wushu hands forms, 2nd place wushu long weapons, 2nd place wushu short weapons
6 and under y.o.
- Sorina Codita – 2nd place wushu hands forms, 2nd place wushu weapons, 2nd kung fu hands forms, 3rd place kung fu weapons
